April Showers Bring May Flowers

Picture #1
Happy April afternoon!

Picture #2
Today I decided to get some fresh air and take some pictures just for my blog.  So here they are.  I thought that a photo of all the flowers I found today would be a pretty neat post.  I hardly know any of their real flower names, but I'll tell you what few I do know or ones we have made up.

In picture #1 shows some white flowers which remind me of daisies.  Really these are a lot tinier, but super cute.

Picture #2 shows low growing purple flowers.  I have no idea what they are, but am thankful that they grow.  They are the hardiest flowers that I know of.

We call these morning glories (below) Easter Flowers because after we moved out here, our hill was covered with them on Easter Sunday.  It was such a beautiful sight!

Wild Onions

More wild onions

Yucca (soap weed)
Later the yucca flowers will bloom and look still prettier.

The first time I ever saw this last flower (the periwinkle colored) was a year or two ago.  I've found that they are almost always growing in a sagebrush or right next to one.  I think they are some of the prettiest wild flowers out here; however, all of them are nice.  : )
